Bizarre Magick
With my final question, I would like to ask if you have ever delved into the performance of Bizarre Magic(k)?...some of your presentations can be quite sinister and some of your effects are quite dark, such as one of my personal favorites...Wagers of Sin.
Have you ever played any of your effects in a really dark manner?
MAX MAVEN
With a few exceptions, my actual performance of Bizarre Magick has been in the context of theatrical séances, which I have done over the years in varied circumstances. It's rewarding work, but quite difficult to do, so I have not done it recently except in the form of a self-contained slate routine that I've done on several television shows in the past few years.

Thank you
May I offer my heartfelt thanks to Max for a most stimulating and enjoyable week of threads.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the past week - this must be one of the most successful "Special Guest" weeks that we have ever had.
A very sincere "thank you" to Max Maven for taking time out of his busy schedule in providing such a professional input to this project.
GARY SCOTT
Just an exceptional big thank you for agreeing to be part of this project.
It was a very insightful look into your thoughts on the world of magic and mentalism.
I wish you ever continued success and look forward to reading your future publications.

I know I've passed the 'Saturday evening' deadline, but I've just got in from my first table-hopping session (local golf club dinner, about 12 tables, 80 or so people) and wanted to say - 'Thanks Max'.
I got into the more 'mental' side of magic from your Videomind DVDs, and this was the line I took most of the evening. The reactions I've had all evening have varied from appreciative amazement to mild fear. The latter to the extent that I need to think whether I should tone down what feels to me like a fairly mild presentation. (I'm a Christian priest, and with a new bishop about to arrive I may need to be a bit careful...)
So, just to say 'thanks' for getting me headed down this route. But if my career comes to an abrupt end, I'll know who to blame.
Thanks for your time spent here, and for all your work.
