Hmm, time for me to lock the thread; things have got out of hand and no progress is being made.
There is time for my "Chabang's Final Thought" though...
We all know sites like this exist, we all know there's people out there who think they deserve a free lunch and will passionatly fight for it; sadly however well intentioned their thoughts and how passionately they argue their point it's useually built on foundations of sand. Shouting at them and name calling isn't going to solve the problem, ignoring them useually does.
One very interesting point this latest debate has bought up is the sheer number of members of bunny who are also members of the offending forum, a position that i find highly illogical and contradictory. Many have said they remain a member of "the other board" so that they can monitor what's going on - whatever good intentions lie behind this situation are irrelervant as i'm sure i'm not the only one who can see the perceived & potential conflict of interests? The situation is being monitored by those that need to monitor it (i.e. the copyright holders) there's no need for hundreds of other people to boost their membership numbers for the same reason. Vote with your feet, don't sit on the fence, stay safe and be good to one another....
